The Gamma chapter aims to provide opportunities for not only professional success, but also personal enrichment. We believe that having a network of brothers who share interests and passions is crucial to a positive college experience for all of our members.

We place a strong emphasis on social events throughout the year, from our spring retreat and quarterly formals to karaoke nights and poker tournaments.

As an organization, we are incredibly proud of the success of our brothers. Our chapter has sent AKPsi alum to top firms such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, McKinsey, and Bain, to name a few. We have alums working towards PhDs, as well as entrepreneurs and software developers. Much of this success is due to the dedication of the brothers who came before us, and we consistently strive to foster a brotherhood that furthers this cycle of achievement.

Meet Sasha Boico, a sophomore studying Computer Science and Chinese. Sasha is interested in startups, technology, and consulting. Along with being a member of AKPsi, she is also involved with CASE and WiC.

1. Why AKPsi?

It’s the gift that keeps on giving! As an international student, I was initially drawn to AKPsi's strong network who could help me navigate building a career in tech/consulting here in the US. Now, I can't imagine my Northwestern experience without the incredible friends I've made, their words of advice during tough times, and the constant motivation I get from our workshops and events.

2. How has AKPsi influenced your career and experiences thus far?

I've gained so much clarity and coaching on all things professional - from resume tweaking to public speaking, interview prep, and even an introduction to almost all industries! But the best part? Through conversations with passionate brothers, my Big, and some self-reflection, I've mapped out exactly what career path I want to pursue. Now I have a much better sense of next steps, and building a professional journey in the US doesn't seem as daunting anymore.

3. What has been your favorite memory of your time in AKPsi?

Like many other brothers, I'm sure - Pledging! Especially the Big/Little reveal. There's just something magical about how the PMs keep you in suspense about all the events planned for you, and when the moment finally comes for Big/Little reveal, there's always this amazing element of surprise that makes it so special.
